Activity of certified / interpreters is governed by the Decree on Experts and Interpreters. To perform this profession, it is necessary to have university education and appointment by a regional court in the place of residence of the interpreter.
Certified / Sworn Interpreting and its Use
Our certified / interpreters participate on:
- official meetings with the participation of foreign nationals;
- negotiations at the Departments of Asylum and Migration Policy of the Ministry of Interior of the CR;
- during court hearings;
- during marriages with a national of another state, when arranging weddings and processing documents at the register office;
- negotiations at the notary or lawyer (e.g. at the General Meeting, when establishing a new company, while signing real estate purchase agreements, drafting promissory note, etc.);
- during validation tests at high schools and universities;
- during driving license tests;

Recommendation: Order fixed days for court interpreting at least 1 month in advance. In the absence of interpreters (especially in specific Asian and other languages), we cannot guarantee 100% availability of an interpreter – in case of urgent demand for court interpreting.
In order to prepare wedding ceremonies, you need to send us your speech in advance and provide us with the contact to the relevant registry office.
Prices and contact
Order our court interpreting throughout the Czech Republic and abroad for very reasonable prices. We also arrange transport to a venue (travel expenses – 3,60 Kč per kilometre, per diems – rates stipulated by law per working day in euro). We can provide turn-key interpreting on special occassions and any kind of interpreting records.
